Save our Air: Hackathon

​Call to Action: We need the most talented and ambitious software, hardware and climate hackers to Save our Air!

​In early June, 100 million Northern Americans put their health at-risk simply by breathing the outside air.

​Join Entrepreneur First (investors include Patrick and John Collison - Stripe, Reid Hoffman - LinkedIn) and SOSV (deep tech fund with $1.5B AUM) this weekend to build solutions that will change tomorrow.

​Prizes include $1000 cash, dinners with unicorn founders, swag from Raspberry Pi, and more.

​Solutions can range from decabornization, to inside air quality, or other creative interpretations...

​What to Build:

​Develop a solution that can have a significant positive impact on our air quality. Examples include -- a model that precisely predicts the air quality of a city based on multiple variables (wildfire, wind, etc) or a home air purifier -- 

​We'll provide space, refreshments, mentors, and a bunch of hardware components (Raspberry Pis, Arduinos, Batteries, Sensors, Basic Electronic components and Breadboards). Participants are welcome to bring their own components!

​​Saturday June 24

​​9am – Check-in & breakfast

​9:30am – Kickoff: Welcome address, team formation

​​10am – Participants begin hacking

​​12pm – Lunch is made available

​​6pm – Dinner is made available

​​11:30pm - Venue closes

​​7am – Breakfast available & venue opens

​​1pm – Registration of solutions closes & Lunch

​​1:45pm - 2:30pm – Solutions demo

​​2:30pm - 2:50pm – Break & Judges deliberate

​​2:50pm – Winners announced

​​3pm - 5pm – Event concludes & Networking
