From Waste to Wonder: How Material Innovation is Reshaping Design
A roundtable on the messy, creative, and hopeful process of building a more circular world, one material at a time.
From seaweed polybags to algae ink to reclaimed materials, today’s emerging technologies have the potential to revolutionize the way we make products and packaging.
But turning an exciting technology into a commercially viable product is no easy task.
During this discussion, panelists will share in-the-trenches experiences of bringing novel materials to market, including how they vet sustainable alternatives, approach commercialization, and the (sometimes many) failures they experience along the way.
