Intro to AI (general audience)
Join us for a free 1 hour workshop focused on AI forecasting and AI safety awareness. Through interactive demonstrations, group exercises, and discussions we aim to provide a strong understanding of the current AI landscape, and encourage you to envision what the future of AI might look like for you and your community.
What’s the current state of AI? In the first portion of the workshop, we will demonstrate the risks, benefits, and current capabilities of widely-available AI systems today.
Where will AI be in the next 36 months? The second portion will consist of guided, open-ended discussions, where we will forecast upcoming AI capabilities and developments. We will compare and calibrate these forecasts against some of today’s strongest expert prediction markets.
