Building Career in VC post MBA with Jaysri Thangam

​Jay is a key part of the investment team and is leading investment strategy at Fund F. Jay has almost 2.8 years of investment experience working across growth and seed stage deals across Europe at Hermes GPE, and PropTech1 VC where she served as Investment Associate and Investment Manager respectively. She has also assisted several other micro VCs and female-led scale-up platforms in the UK. 

​Jay has an MBA from the University of Oxford, Said Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Arts from Ashoka University and a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, giving her a strong foundation to analyse deals from a quantitative and qualitative perspective.

​Previously, She started her career at Microsoft part of Skype product as a Network Architect. Jay then pivoted into building fin-tech startups where she served as a founding team member at a consumer finance startup and served as Chief of Staff in a B2B payments startup (now Unicorn) and assisted in several fundraising efforts. 

​Jaysri now serves as a mentor with REACH UK, Carbon 13 and as a Council member in the technology and Product council at ULI.
