Capture the Flag - CipherQuest
Are you ready to put your problem-solving skills to the test? Capture the Flag is a thrilling, two-round challenge where teams of 2-4 participants compete to solve a variety of puzzles and capture flags. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned hacker, there's something for everyone!
🔹 Round 1 (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM): A fun and engaging challenge focused on logic, aptitude, and reasoning—no prior technical knowledge needed! Some challenges may even require you to move around campus to crack the clues.
🔹 Round 2 (1:30 PM - 3:30 PM): Get ready to dive deep into Web Exploitation, Cryptography, Forensics, Reverse Engineering, and OSINT. This is where your technical skills will be put to the ultimate test! It is recommended to have someone with technical knowledge in your team.
🏆 Scoring & Prizes: Teams earn points based on challenge difficulty. The top 3 teams with the highest scores win! In case of a tie, the team that solved the challenges the fastest will come out on top.
🚨 Rules: Malpractice (sharing flags, attacking infrastructure, unauthorized tools) leads to disqualification. Play fair and have fun!
General Rules for Participants
1. All communications must be carried out through WhatsApp with the respective Event Coordinator. Phone calls will not be entertained unless in case of emergencies.
2. RVU Email ID is mandatory for registering. Registrations with personal emails will be void.
3. ID Cards are mandatory to participate in events.
4. The participants must abide by all deadlines. The organizers are not liable for disqualification on the above mentioned grounds.
5. Consumption of substances is prohibited and will lead to escalation to the student disciplinary committee.
