

Creative Writing Craft Workshop in Zürich - Led by Rebecca Schiff
Join for a two-day creative writing craft workshop in Zürich, with a focus on the basics of effective fiction writing and story-telling. The workshop, which will be conducted in English, aims to help writers of all abilities and experience improve their skills in a supportive environment, and will emphasise expert instruction and guidance to participants. Topics that will be covered include character development, story structure, voice and narrative point of view, among others. Participants will also be offered the chance to bring a short piece of their writing to the workshop for discussion with the class.
The instructor for the workshop will be Rebecca Schiff. Rebecca is the author of the story collection The Bed Moved, a finalist for an LA Times Book Award. Her fiction has appeared in Electric Literature, The Guardian, n+1, and Washington Square, among other publications, and was anthologized in The Best Small Fictions 2017. Rebecca was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Undergraduate Creative Writing at Columbia University in the spring semester of 2024.
