Piano Meditations: James McAulay & Martin Rott
Experience stillness & musical presence in one of London's most beautiful concert spaces, Shoreditch Treehouse.
Following two sold-out meditative concerts in 2024, we're back with the third performance in our State Shift series.
Doors from 6.45pm
Guided Meditation & Music from 7.30pm
(doors will close at 7.25)
The evening will begin with a guided meditation to help you unwind and experience the music more somatically.
The Shoreditch Treehouse is home to one of the most beautiful pianos in the UK, a Steinway Model D Concert Grand.
James will be performing music from his new EP, Sapphire, which is due for release in May.
Joining James is Martin Rott, a musician and composer from Berlin who has played drums and keyboards as well as written songs and arrangements for several German and Austrian billboard acts and scored music for more than 150 TV episodes, movies and award-winning feature films. He began releasing his own music in 2020, collaborating with Klur, Luchs, Illuminine, L’aupaire, Varley, Aparde and more. Martin’s music has been streamed over 3.5 million times across Spotify and Apple Music, and releases from his LP "Utopian Traveler" featuring the London Contemporary Orchestra have been featured on BBC6 by Ólafur Arnalds.
