We are excited to invite developers and builders to the Base Around the World Hack weekend in Bangalore. This event offers an opportunity to create innovative onchain applications that address local challenges while advancing the onchain ecosystem. Whether you’re an experienced developer or exploring Base for the first time, this hackathon provides a platform for collaboration, learning, and innovation. Compete for ETH prizes, connect with the community, and help shape the future of blockchain technology.

DAY 1:
Introduction to Base and Buildathon (15 min)
We'll give you a quick overview of Base and what we want to achieve with this Buildathon. We'll also cover what we expect from you and the kind of support you can get during the event.
Hacking Time (3 hours 45 minutes)
This is your time to work on your projects. You'll have plenty of time to bring your ideas to life and make significant progress.
If you need any help or guidance, our mentors will be available to assist you.
DAY 2:
Hacking Time (3 hours)
Keep working on your projects during this time and focus on finalizing them for the demo. You don't need anything fancy like a presentation - a great prototype is all that's required.
We recommend using some of this time to prepare for your demo later on.
Project Demos & Feedback (1 hour)
This is your opportunity to showcase your work to everyone. Each team will give a brief demo of their project. After each demo, our mentors will provide feedback and suggestions to help you improve your project.

About the Based India Buildathon:
Base is for everyone, and this fall, Base is going global with a series of regional buildathons, connecting builders across Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. These buildathons will run from September 27th to October 13th, offering a total of 100 ETH in prizes. The buildathon is open to participants from these four regions and will be hosted online via Devfolio.
