​Hello friends!!

​Summer is basically here, and in true Chicago fashion, it's time to soak up some sun and keep our workout goals going, this time with our mami's.

​Why yoga?

​Yoga is a beautiful way of slowing down, connecting with yourself and grounding yourself while also challenging yourself a bit and proving to yourself that you CAN do more than you thought you could, my hope is that by doing it in spanglish, we create a space where our mom's can not only feel welcomed but feel up to the challenge to also play on the mat with us.

​Why Mother’s Day?

​This class is held on Mother’s Day as a way to honor all mothers—those we hold close, those we’ve lost, and those who’ve cared for us in any form. It’s inspired by my own mother, whose love continues to guide me. I wanted to create a space for others to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate the women who shaped us, whether they are with us in body or in spirit.

​We will also have a small flower bar to walk away with a bouquet for yourself or your mama, and some notecards to just write her a sweet little message of appreciation, it is her day after all.

​Why donate?

​This event will be donation based and all proceeds will go to a nonprofit organization focused on helping mothers in the neighborhood and their children A representative of the organization will be there to speak on what they’re doing in the community and how to get envolved if interested.

​What do I need to bring?
