​地球環境の危機、社会格差、政治不安が深まる今、「脱成長」という考え方が従来の経済モデルに代わる可能性を秘めています。無限の成長を超えた、持続可能で公平な社会づくりについて考える夕べにぜひご参加ください。

​本イベントは、Impact HUB Tokyoと連携し、目黒で開催します。

​登壇者

​ゲストスピーカー：Dr. Sabrina Chakori

​受賞歴を持つスイス系オーストラリア人の研究者・社会起業家。持続可能性と脱成長の分野で17年以上の経験を持ちます。

​CSIRO（オーストラリア連邦科学産業研究機構）のポスドク研究員、メルボルン大学名誉研究員として、食料システムと循環経済における脱成長への移行を研究。特に「エクスノベーション」（既存技術や製品の段階的廃止）が成長に依存しない企業をどう強化できるかに注目しています。

​主な実績：

• ​オーストラリア初の「モノの図書館」Brisbane Tool Libraryの設立。「モノを持たずに必要なものを借りる」仕組み。

• ​クイーンズランド州で使い捨てビニール袋禁止法の制定に貢献

• ​脱成長ジャーナル Degrowth Journalの共同設立・編集、「スロー・サイエンス」の推進

東京大学博士課程で脱成長、フェミニズム、ケアの視点からポスト成長福祉システムを研究。3月20日には著名な脱成長学者Timothée ParriqueとCecilia Paulssonを迎えた「Outgrow the System」上映会を主催します。

Join us for an enlightening evening exploring how we can create a more sustainable and equitable society beyond endless growth.

​We're partnering up with Impact HUB Tokyo to bring you this event right in the center of Tokyo!

​Featured Speaker: Dr. Sabrina Chakori

​Kokokara is honored to welcome Dr. Sabrina Chakori, an internationally recognized researcher, educator, and award-winning Swiss-Australian social entrepreneur. Dr. Chakori brings 17+ years of expertise in sustainability and degrowth implementation.

​Dr. Chakori is a postdoctoral researcher at CSIRO (Australia's National Science Agency) and honorary research fellow at The University of Melbourne. Her groundbreaking work examines degrowth transitions across food systems and circular economic models, with particular focus on how exnovation can empower post-growth enterprises.

​Her practical accomplishments include:

• ​Founding the Brisbane Tool Library, Australia's pioneering "library of things" housed within the State Library of Queensland

• ​Successfully collaborating with Queensland's Environment Minister to enact legislation banning single-use plastic bags

• ​Co-founding and editing the Degrowth Journal, championing slow science and knowledge decommodification

​Guest: Yuichi Tsuchibuchi

​For the event, Kokokara will also welcome Yuichi Tsuchibuchi, a PhD candidate at the University of Tokyo researching post-growth welfare systems through degrowth, feminist, and care perspectives.

​Yuichi is hosting the acclaimed screening of "Outgrow the System" featuring prominent degrowth scholars Timothée Parrique and Cecilia Paulsson on March 20, 2025. (For the screening, register from here).
