Synopsis of Panel

Over the last few years, workplace digital transformation and the pandemic have led to a myriad of disruptions for employees at the workplace. Implementation of new technologies could lead to jobs being redesigned, role redundancies and upskill requirements to keep up with new role expectations.

These disruptions can cause stress and anxiety for employees, was well as impact morale, productivity, and well-being at work. To reduce this burden on employees, companies should be transparent about their transformation goals and the changes that need to be taken along the way.  Staff will need to be engaged and involved to drive greater buy-in.

In the NTUC Learning Hub’s Special Report on Mental Wellness at the Workplace*, 61% of employees expressed discomfort in discussing well-being, highlighting the lack of understanding and the lack of open communication as challenges at work. HR therefore plays a crucial role in balancing employee needs and concerns, while prioritising business outcomes as a strategic partner.

One way that HR and organisations can better promote transparent and open communications regarding changes and challenges at work is by leveraging on Growth Circles.  A Growth Circle is a facilitated forum that promotes a psychologically safe environment for participants to share and discuss challenges, helping them boost their self-care, mental well-being, and people skills.

Join us to hear from Shane (Co-founder of Growthbeans), Jen Nie (Chief Executive of Xcellink Pte Ltd), Teck Wei (Operations Director of Inspire-Tech) and Isabel (Deputy Director HR & Workforce Transformation of Xcellink Pte Ltd), as they share the benefits of prioritising employee well-being, as well as share ways they have leveraged Growth Circles to champion employee growth and well-being at work.
