Hiking trip: Ruta Hidroelectrica. Laujar de Andarrax

​🌄 Join Us for an Adventure in Laujar de Andarax! 🌿

​This Sunday, we’re heading to the charming village of Laujar de Andarax, nestled in the foothills of the Alpujarra region—just a 1-hour scenic drive from Almería.

​✨ The Plan:
🚶‍♂️ We’ll kick off the day with an invigorating 9 km circular hike, starting at the source of the Andarax River (let’s see if we catch some water this time!). The route includes the Ruta Hidroeléctrica, a unique trail that showcases old hydroelectric structures and lush vegetation—a hidden gem for nature lovers.

​🍴 After the hike, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch in Laujar

​🌡️ What to Expect:

• ​Approximate temperature: 12°C (bring layers!)

• ​A mix of terrains on the trail—hiking shoes are recommended.

• ​Plenty of photo opportunities!
