About our Speakers:
🚀 James Pan - Software Engineer @ Microsoft
James graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Computer Science. During his studies, he interned at Dellm, EMC and Meta, receiving offers from Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon upon graduation. He now works on the Intelligent Conversation and Communication Cloud services team at Microsoft.
🚀 Danielle Clark - Product Designer @ Splunk
Danielle studied Materials Engineering at UBC, where her passion for human-centered design led her into product design. She currently works at Splunk, focusing on Visualization and Dashboarding, combining her technical skills with her love for human interaction.
🚀 Aryan Gandhi - Software Engineer @ Amazon
Aryan recently graduated from UBC in Computer Engineering. Active in UBC's Launchpad as a developer, tech lead, and co-president, he has developed strong leadership skills. Now, he’s a Software Engineer at Amazon, eager to connect at the Vancouver Tech Mixer.
🚀 Lucy Li - Technology Risk Consultant @ KPMG
Lucy, a recent University of Calgary graduate, majored in Business Analytics & Data Science. She interned with Alberta Health Services, CNOOC International, and KPMG in Calgary. Currently, she works as a Technology Risk Consultant at KPMG, balancing her career with a love for exploring new cuisines.
🚀 Shubh Bhalla - Software Engineer @ PayPal
Shubh graduated from UBC with a B.Sc. in Computer Science, having completed four co-op terms and engaging in various volunteering opportunities. Now at PayPal, Shubh is passionate about the tech community and is looking forward to meeting everyone at the Vancouver Tech Mixer.
