About Event

You know that terrible feeling of social awkwardness? Especially while flirting? Great. Let's lean into it. Feel the awk!

✅ Honorable. If you're female, you're probably thinking, “How do I know that the men at this event will be Honorable?” This is why all men are invited by attending women. Once you RSVP, you can refer one man you deem Honorable and Good. Your name will be written on his name tag. All men are invited this way.
✅ You do not have to be single to attend
✅ Safe touch: 1) Optional "Do not touch me while flirting" wristbands; 2) When men initiate physical touch to anyone without a wristband, they must move at 30% speed (v awkward we know).
✅ Sex-balanced
✅ Awkward activities (optional): "call my ex for a testimonial", Serenade station, 7 minutes in heaven but public, AI baby face generator, spin the bottle
✅ Receive a list of quests to encourage mixing
✅ Moderator volunteers
✅ No music, only awk
✅ Group debrief at the end

Doors open 7:15 PM, doors close 7:45 PM so we can ensure everyone has context.
Debrief at 9:15, official end 9:30.

This event is informed by our experience running previous intentional awkwardness events: Awkwardness v3, Extreme Awkwardness, and Awkwardness Lab.

During this experimental event we will test approaches in order to create awkward flirting party
