About Event

Join us for our next inspiring knowledge sharing session with like-minded People & Culture and Workplace Leads.

After the great kick-off of last week’s first WX knowledge sharing event, we’re back: this time diving even deeper into how we can design workplaces that truly connect People, Culture, and Place.

We’ll explore how leaders can use science — specifically the Competing Values Framework — to clarify the culture they want to nurture, how hybrid work and workspace design can actively reinforce those ambitions, and how to make all of this part of the organisation’s strategic blueprint.

This is more than a knowledge-sharing session — it’s a mini workshop, based on our leadership offering.

What we’ll explore:

How the Competing Values Framework (a widely recognised model in organizational science) helps us:
🔹 Clarify cultural orientations that support strategic goals
🔹 Understand how these orientations lead to different hybrid models
🔹 Align physical workspace design with the culture you’re building

Angelique will introduce the four workplace archetypes derived from the framework:
🔹 Playroom (Create culture)
🔹 War Room (Compete culture)
🔹 Control Room (Control culture)
🔹 Living Room (Collaborate culture)

Each offers strategic insight into how physical and digital environments can support — or hinder — your desired culture.

We’ll then be joined by Ivan Palomino, leadership and culture consultant, who will show how these workplace concepts now form part of the Culture Canvas he uses with senior leaders. His work illustrates how workplace choices have moved from facilities and HR into the core of strategic leadership.

Together, we’ll explore how to bring workplace design into your culture blueprint — as a leadership tool, not just a logistical one.

This session is for people in People & Culture and Workplace Strategy who believe the workplace isn’t just where work happens — it’s a reflection of who we are and what we value.

✨ As always, this is a space for peer learning, honest questions, and big ideas.
Feel free to bring a colleague or friend who’d enjoy the conversation.
