Gowanus Art Walk & Climate Talk with Gotham SideWalks

​Join us for a specially curated walk with Gotham SideWalks! This 1.5 hour walk will focus on art and community around the Gowanus canal, along with environmental and climate concerns. The tour begins with a quick drink and music at the Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring cash for drinks.

​About Gotham SideWalks:

​Brooklyn collage artist and educator, Rich Garr, leads comfortable open-air explorations through the Gowanus waterfront. He is a longtime area artist focusing on public art and community. These walks respond to both current events and history, and a key component of his interdisciplinary collage art practice. These walking tours focus on art in—and about—the streets, with histories layered into the experience. They are carefully planned, but unscripted and collaborative.
