She is the founder & managing partner at MALOKA, a venture studio that builds and invests in community & creator-focused companies.
Shreya Punj is the head of e-commerce at HarperCollins Publishers India. She’s also a content creator. In her earlier stint in publishing, Shreya worked as a commissioning editor. She published many bestselling authors at Penguin Random House India and HarperCollins Publishers. She’s made several pivots in her career. An engineer, she started her career as a reporter at Mint. She’s also worked in the Indian startup ecosystem in senior leadership roles. Shreya also runs The Editor Recommends on Instagram, where she wants to make India pick up the book and make the publishing industry more accessible to people. The account has over 100k followers.
Ria Chopra is a freelance writer, journalist, and creative consultant. She writes about culture, Gen Z, and the internet, and her essays and reported work have been published in international and national publications like The Hindu, VICE, Vogue, Refinery29, Times of India, Indian Express, Insider, BuzzFeed, The Quint, Mashable, Outlook, Mint, and more. Ria also holds the positions of Youth Advisor to Google via Canvas8 and editor in chief of Stumble. She is writing her debut non-fiction book.
Nona Uppal is an author and writer based in New Delhi, India. Her debut novel, Fool Me Twice, was published by Penguin in 2024. She heads marketing at a wellness start up and creates content for a community of 170,000 people on Instagram. Her next two novels are forthcoming with Penguin in 2025, 2026.
