About Event

An event where we talk about all things Developer Experience, Tooling, and Open Source.

Agenda

🕒 5:30 pm – 5:40 pm
Welcome and Opening Remarks

🎤 Marijan Cipcic, Principal Events Manager at Daytona

🕒 5:40 pm - 6:05 pm
Keynote "Building Infrastructure for AI Agents"

🎤 Ivan Burazin, Co-founder and CEO at Daytona

Outline:

AI coding agents today are constrained by primitive infrastructure, limited to basic file operations with no access to runtime or output context—resulting in poor outcomes as agents can only assume their suggestions are correct. This talk will dive into the challenges agents face due to these limitations, explore how we can overcome them, and demonstrate how this unlocks the true potential of AI coding agents.

🕒 6:05 pm - 6:30 pm
Keynote "AX and why it matters"

🎤 Mathias Biilmann Christensen, CEO and co-founder, Netlify

Outline:

AI agents are reshaping software development, but today’s infrastructure wasn’t built for them. For AI agents to truly be effective, we need to design our infrastructure with Agent Experience (AX) in mind. AX is about building the shortest path for an agent to go from user input to a URL in production. This requires primitives and APIs designed for LLMs and workflows that enable seamless developer-agent collaboration. This talk will offer a new perspective on AI-driven development, key architectural principles for supporting AI agents, and a glimpse into the future where AI isn't just a coding assistant but an active participant in software creation.

🕒 6:30 pm – 6:50 pm
Keynote "Cloud Sandboxes for AI Code Execution"

🎤 Toma Puljak, Software Engineer & Developer Advocate at Daytona

Outline:

As AI applications grow in complexity, the need for secure, isolated, and high-performance environments to execute AI agent code becomes critical. This talk explores the concept of cloud sandboxes—isolated, ephemeral environments designed for running AI workloads. We’ll dive into key use cases, such as testing, debugging, and fine-tuning AI agents, and discuss why speed and isolation are essential for these workflows. The session will also cover the architectural components of a cloud sandbox, from provisioning and resource allocation to execution and teardown.

🕒 6:50 pm - 8:30 pm
