DIE RPG with Nate

​This is an RPGFest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

​It’s finally time... I’m running a Die one-shot for RPG Fest!
Come experience the love letter to table top roleplaying and the very real emotions it stirs within us that creator Kieron Gillen calls “Goth Jumanji”.

A group of friends reconnect after decades apart and get sucked into the fantasy rpg they used to play as kids, now twisted by their fears, frustrations, and regrets. They’ll get to kick some butt, confront their worst impulses, and decide who among them would choose to give up their real life to live in the fantasy instead.

This game is for you if:
- You want to explore the emotions of a flawed person grappling with all the ways life didn’t turn out as planned, and (hopefully) bring them to catharsis.
- You want to explore the mechanics of a regular human given incredible powers with (almost) no consequences.
- You can make BIG choices with OPEN-ENDED character powers.
- You can read the vibe of a GROUP, and are committed to maintaining an emotional safe space for EVERYONE.
- You’re feeling SAD, and ANGRY, and REGRETFUL, and RESENTFUL, and ….. okay so maybe the GM has some stuff to work out too.

Die is light on rules and heavy on roleplay and player-generated creativity. No prep needed.
