About SEED Consulting Group:
We recruit, train, and lead diverse teams of experienced volunteers nationally to work on pro-bono and low-bono consulting projects that help solve our clients' most critical challenges. A typical 10-week project involves skilled professionals from various functions and industries with the goal of supporting local environmental businesses and nonprofits across Marketing, Strategy, Governance, Organizational Management, Fundraising, and Data Analytics. A 10-week project cycle offers over 400 hours of services and an average market-rate value of more than $75,000.
We strive to empower the personal and professional development of our volunteers. On top of project-based learning, we provide ample opportunities for volunteers to network and develop professional skills. Opportunities include our personalized onboarding program for Project Managers and Consultants through Seed University, leadership opportunities, project management certifications (SCRUM), networking events, socials, client management, finance, marketing, and many more.
About Green Drinks:
San Diego Green Drinks (SDGD) is a monthly networking group for professionals or individuals interested in the sustainability field. We typically meet on the third Thursday of each month at a local bar to discuss different environmental issues with a speaker followed by open networking. These events are casual, drinking is optional, and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
