FAQs
What is Issue Space?
Issue Space is a community for professional changemakers of every kind. Through meaningful conversation, we hold space to process life in the business of impact. We launched in September 2024 with the Issue Space podcast, featuring diverse voices discussing the most complex aspects of social impact work.
Who runs Issue Space?
Issue Space was created by the social impact strategist Cat Addo, whose portfolio has included major brand, nonprofit, philanthropy, media, and think tank clients.
Who is this event for?
Like everything from Issue Space, we designed this gathering with social impact professionals in mind. Whether working at a mission-driven brand, nonprofit, foundation, social startup, or similar, you'll find the content most relevant if your profession is oriented toward pursuing social support and positive change.
Does this event start right at 6pm?
We will have some mingling time at the start of the event so that folks can arrive in a relaxed fashion, grab a bite and a drink, and find a great seat. However, please plan to arrive by 6:30pm to settle in and minimize disruptions once the recording begins.
Should I RSVP if I'm just thinking about it?
Our setup is seated and intimate, and thoughtfully filling each seat will help create a positive vibe for all. Because of that, we kindly ask that you RSVP only if you really plan to join us!
Should I change my RSVP if I can't make it?
Yes! Please cancel your RSVP if your plans change so that your seat becomes available.
Can I bring someone with me day-of?
Because this event involves seating, we ask that all attendees, including +1s and folks joining day-of, RSVP in advance so that we can ensure accommodation.
Will I appear on camera?
The podcast participants will be the subject of the taping, not the seated audience. Photos and videos of the room may be captured for social media; if you do not wish to appear, please notify the staff onsite, or send an email to hello@issuespacemedia.com.
