ββββποΈAbout this hike:
Head out on this 7.9-km out-and-back trail near Macoah, British Columbia. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 38 min to complete.
The hike up is pretty relentlessly steep with a very rugged trail full of tree roots, exposed rocks and a few sections requiring the use of hands. Cobalt Lake is very scenic and the Alpine Club of Canada cabin offers camping in style. The lake is also an ideal place to swim and cool off during the summer. The 360-degree views from the summit are incredible, especially the sight of Triple Peak.
