Welcome to yet another Ops Stories workshop where you can learn something new or refresh your knowledge on something you already knew.

Our workshops are always organised and run by existing Ops Stories members who are very generous to share their knowledge and expertise with the community. 🙌

This workshop is brought to us by Jon Passmore, Strategy & Innovation Director at 2SB Management Systems.

It’s gonna be all about Demystifying What It Takes To Get Certified To ISO 9001 (Quality), 27001 (Infosec) and 14001 (Environmental).

Many startups and scaleups hit the ISO wall as they start to sell to larger corporates. The conversations seem to be progressing well, and then the prospective client asks “do you have ISO xx001?”.

Implementing ISO can be done in a way which is sympathetic to your culture. If approached correctly it will help set the company up to scale in a more structured and secure way. Almost without exception, those companies who have taken it on feel more benefits than pain and find it opens doors to opportunities that have previously been shut hard.

Whether you are mid implementation, about to start out or have a niggling feeling you will need to take on ISO, join this workshop to demystify what is required.

The topics we’ll cover:

  • Why should you get certified and when is the right time?

  • How long does an implementation take?

  • How much resource will an implementation take?

  • How does certification work?

  • How do implement an ISO system in a way that matches our culture?

  • Key features of ISO 9001

  • Key features of ISO 27001

  • Key features of ISO 14001

  • Structuring the implementation with Airtable
