Wine, Women & Wisdom: Redefining Networking
Networking sucks.
And networking as a woman?
Statistically worse:
American women are 28% less likely to have a strong network compared to men
46% of women feel excluded from informal networks at work, such as golf
Only 11% of women feel confident in their network
It’s time to change that.
I’m Megumi Calver, sommelier and founder of Merobebe, a media company dedicated to elevating women through the power of wine. Like many of you, I’ve experienced the awkwardness of networking events—unsure who to approach or worried about interrupting a conversation.
That’s why I’m launching Wine, Women & Wisdom: a series of events where women can make meaningful connections (while discovering exceptional woman-owned wines)!
Let's redefine networking.
Join me for an intimate afternoon of curated conversations, a wine tasting led by sommelier Sheila Donohue, CEO & Founder of small-production wine importer Vero, and an insightful talk on inclusive leadership with Dr. Cathryn Dhanatya, co-founder and President/CEO of Growing Good Inc.
Together, let's make networking work for us—all while having fun and uplifting women-owned businesses!
