​Join us for an experimental art party at The Commons where we will be playing with the concept of multiple and shifting identities: your online persona, your social role, your maximally actualized dream self, your schizo anonymity, your suppressed side, your shadow.

​This is an identity playground. We’ll explore the blurring, separating, and meta-formation of identities and celebrate the gathering of various communities. There will be masks, experiential spaces, zines, musical jams, DJs and more. 

​DRESS 💃

​Express yourself however you want— wear your weirdest outfit! Feel free to wear a fit that consists entirely of tissue paper bound by rope; be an e-girl or This Part Of The Void; dress up as your twitter avatar, your alter-ego, wear pajamas, be totally anon.

​Wear that hot item you’ve always wanted to show off but haven’t gotten a chance to.

• ​Build your own scent with @lemonaut

• ​Platforms: Mask performance experimental spaces

• ​Zine workshop: Take zine, make a zine! Contribute to a zine created by persona party attendees and get a printed copy, with @sonyasupposedly

• ​Masks station: Create masks and make them come alive

• ​Live-generated immersive visual show by @Mariel-Rosic

• ​Group thread creation: Add to a group spool of thread

• ​Emergent group twitter account: Everyone gets credentials to talk to each other within the anonymous bounds of a group twitter account

• ​Silent eye contact: Stare into someones eyes for 1 minute

  • ​7-9pm Musical Jam: Bring your instruments to jam together!

  • ​9-1030pm Erratic Dance: Erratic Dance is a subset of ecstatic dance that uses strikingly novel music from around the world. @RhysLindmark will play the cajon to guide us.

  • ​11pm-1am DJ Ray: Beats by DJ Ray

• ​Meditation lounge

  • ​8-9pm The Maenad in the Matrix: On Simulation Theory, Antecedents, and Contemporary Methods to Cause (Non-Drug) Anomalous Experiences, a talk by @headgameus

  • ​9-930pm What's Past Is Persona: On the history and future of your personas, a workshop by @IvyAstrix

  • ​930-10pm IFS Guided Meditation: @christineist will give an overview and bring attendees through an introductory guided meditation

​BYOB - Bring whatever snacks + drinks you’d like to have. Bring an open mind and good vibes for a celebration and expansion of self.
