Applied Generative AI for Creativity: Writing, Research, and Multimedia Storytelling
Gen AI is revolutionizing the creative workplace! Join MCM’s Martin Waxman for Applied Generative AI for Creativity, a new two-afternoon virtual workshop that will empower you to effectively use AI tools for ideation, writing, research, and multimedia storytelling.
Through interactive instruction and practical hands-on tutorials, you’ll learn how to combine structured and conversational prompting techniques to supercharge your writing, research, visual and video content. Martin will teach you to power your creative workflows with the skills you need to strategically integrate generative AI tools, including:
Prompting for Creative Workflows: Take your AI prompting to the next level by learning to blend conversational “vibe prompting” with structured techniques and organize your own prompt library (i.e. naming, sorting, versioning).
AI as a Research Partner: Supercharge your comms and marketing research by learning AI for deep research and reports, stakeholder personas, message testing, and scenario design, always keeping a ‘human in the loop’.
Writing with AI: Learn to maximize gen AI as your creativity partner by learning to strike the optimal balance between ‘Brains On’ or ‘Brains Off’. Learn how to adapt Dave Birss’s powerful prompting model for using AI for writing and research.
Intro to Multimodal AI: Learn to produce effective multimedia documents by using advanced multimodal AI prompting techniques and ‘any-to-any’ prompting tools including text-to-image, text-to-video, text-to-websites, text or voice-to-translation, text-to-music and more!
Multimodal AI Tool Demos: Martin will teach you through hands-on experience with multimodal AI tools including Ideogram (visuals), Gamma (presentation), Napkin.ai (charts and diagrams), WordPress (AI-generated web design), Udio (music) Picsart (social media and video), Udio (music), Notebook LM and Eleven Labs GenFM (audio summaries as podcasts), Sora.
Productivity vs. Innovation: Martin will lead you through his techniques for balancing the duality of AI in your workflows. You’ll discuss tradeoffs involved in adopting generative AI for a creative workflow and how to establish a strategic approach for your team.
