​MV Splicers, we love you. Here is your chance to show the world you are the best of the best.

​Agenda

​April 8th

​6 pm - 8 pm - Opening ceremony and introductions. Come meet everyone in a relaxed environment. Network and enjoy some good company.

​ April 9th

​8am - 9am - Breakfast

​9 am - 2 pm - PRODUCT SHOW - Manufacturers will display their latest innovations and products in the Medium Voltage portfolio. Learn from companies like TE Connectivity, Hubbell Power Systems, Pfisterer, Nexans, Richards, Southwire, Etc.

​9 am - 2 pm - SPLICER COMPETITION - Splicers test loop installation. 12 Of the best splicers in the country will compete for some cash prices and also for the honor of taking home the 133 tool bag.

​COMPETITION DETAILS

​Each team consists of 2 splicers. 6 Teams will compete for a chance to win.

​4 teams have been hand-picked from some of the best splicers we know. 2 Teams are yet to be picked. Apply to enter your team by clicking "Apply to Join". Enter your company email so we know who you work for.

​Cash prices

​First Place - $1,750

​Second Place - $1,330

​Third Place - $1,000

​Rules to participate:

• ​15+ years MV splicer experience.

• ​You and your partner must be from the same company.

• ​You must bring your own tools. All tools are allowed.

• ​Travel and accommodation to the event will be sponsored by Elektrik App Inc.

• ​You must be able to arrive at SLC UT on April 8th (anytime) and leave no sooner than April 9th 5 pm from SLC UT.

• ​Winners will be judged by a group of MV experts, following a point system criteria, which will be shared with participants ahead of the competition. We will look for craftsmanship, splice/termination testing performance, timely work, and other criteria.
