[Deep Tech] University of California - Los Alamos National Laboratory Entrepreneur Postdoc Accelerator Showcase
Join us as we gather the deep tech community to dive into the innovative applied technologies ripe for commercialization.
University of California – Los Alamos National Laboratory Entrepreneur Postdoc Accelerator
In 2017, Los Alamos National Laboratory partnered with the University of California to establish a deep-tech accelerator at Los Alamos, designed to support postdoctoral researchers in exploring commercialization pathways for their technologies and advanced applied research. This had led to industry partnerships, licenses, spinouts, and larger roles within Los Alamos for those who became staff members. This year, seven postdoctoral researchers are evaluating use cases for their innovative solutions, including non-chemical seed fertilizers, one-time vaccines, biofilm-targeted treatments, large-scale carbon management, bio-inspired microphones and speakers, non-invasive inspection tools, and a hybrid fusion energy solution.
Thank you to our co-host Extreme Tech Challenge and sponsor SVB for your generous support!
