About Event

Join us online for an engaging webinar that will unlock the secrets of Intellectual Property (IP) - specifically tailored for startups.

In today's fast-paced and competitive business landscape, protecting your innovative ideas and creations is important for long-term success. Led by IP Australia’s Chief Economist, Dr Michael Falk, this webinar will provide you with valuable insights into building a robust IP strategy to secure your competitive edge and recognise the value of holding registered IP rights in attracting capital.

Throughout the webinar, you'll gain an understanding of how to identify your IP, build an IP portfolio choosing from the right IP, including patents and trade marks.

IP Australia will also demonstrate their new trade mark tool – TM Checker. TM Checker is a free trade mark pilot tool that makes it easier for small businesses to check if a trade mark is available. This can help avoid potential infringement issues down the track. An initial check only takes a few minutes and is free. If you decide to apply, it can cost as little as $330.

If you are interested in attending – please complete IP Australia’s pre-webinar survey so we can tailor the webinar to attendees.
