About Event

Did you know that a zip code can influence health outcomes more than genetics? In Latino communities, mothers face even greater challenges, including inequitable healthcare access, difficulties navigating the U.S. system, and a lack of culturally and linguistically responsive support. While the Latino population is the largest and fastest-growing minority group in the country, maternal health initiatives have predominantly focused on other minorities. This has left many Latinas without adequate solutions, limiting their access to proper prenatal care and opportunities to empower themselves in their own health. It also contributes to low health literacy.

There are significant disparities in the experiences of our communities, highlighting the urgent need to address these inequities and improve care across diverse populations.

This gathering brings together leaders, innovators, advocates, and investors to reimagine solutions that genuinely meet the needs of Latina mothers and their communities.
