About Event

Join this panel to hear current college undergraduates answer your questions about applying as an international student! We will discuss the journey to apply for admissions to US colleges, specifically from the perspective of an international applicant.

We are featuring 3 guest panelists for this session:

  • Aditi Narayan (New York University)

  • Chaplin Huang (University of Chicago)

  • Natasha Valluri (Georgia Tech)

Please submit any questions you have in advance through this registration link.

The event will be streamed on our YouTube channel (https://youtube.myeduvisa.org/).

Here is more information about our panelists:

Aditi is an incoming freshman, currently on a gap year, at New York University, studying Mathematics. She is an international student from India and is also a recruited athlete in college. In high school, her extracurriculars included varsity athletics, research, and volunteer work.

Chaplin is a freshman at the University of Chicago studying Economics and Computer Science. She is a boxer, entrepreneur, and music producer. She is an international student from China.

Natasha is a 19-year old intersectional feminist, social activist, and paneer enthusiast from Hyderabad, India. When she's not engaging in debates about physics, philosophy, and politics, she's usually re-watching Haikyuu! for the 18th time, working at education-centered non-profits and curating Spotify playlists. She believes in declaring missions, not majors. After a typical six-month-stint in existential crises followed by your mandatory 'soul-searching', she wants to make education accessible, inclusive and personalized all over the world with her people at Georgia Tech where she is majoring in Computational Media. She's interested in the intersection of technology and design and wants to create human-centered experiences.
