​What to Expect

​Join us for a captivating evening of unity and diversity as we celebrate the beauty of love that transcends religious boundaries. Our "OneTable Conversations: Interfaith Couples Shabbat" is an extraordinary gathering that embraces the unique experience of a relationship between Judaism and other faiths. The Shabbat dinner table can be a comfortable space for deep and nuanced conversations — and I want to experience that with you, in Phoenix.

​In partnership with Congregation Kehillah and facilitated by Rabbi Bonnie Sharfman, you’ll have the opportunity to bring in Shabbat by sharing a nourishing dinner and conversation about interfaith relationships with other interfaith couples. Rabbi Bonnie Sharfman is a speaker, teacher, and panelist on religious, social justice, historical, and interfaith issues and teaches regularly in interfaith settings. 

​Together, we will connect over the joys, challenges, and unique experiences of Interfaith couples. Discussing our own experiences and stories together, you will leave with a deeper relationship with similar couples and a framework and tools to continue reflecting on the nuances of interfaith relationships. 

​Tickets include: a facilitated evening filled with Shabbat blessings, inquiry & discussion, and dinner and a drink in community at Pedal Haus Brewery in Tempe, Arizona. All who feel they have the experience of being an interfaith couple, or ever having been an interfaith couple are invited to attend, regardless of your experience with Shabbat. We are looking forward to being with you.
