Hamish Baker's 40th birthday!

​I am turning 40 next year. I have decided that we need to have an epic weekend out of Auckland with all of our friends. So mark your diaries and book your accommodation because we are doing Te Arai Links from Friday 14 November 2025 to Sunday 16 November 2025.

The plan is for the golfers to play one of the courses on Friday 14 November 2025 and the other on Saturday 15 November 2024.

There will be informal drinks at the clubhouse on the Friday evening from 6pm onwards.

The ​Party night will be on Saturday 15 November 2025 at 7pm at Ric's Restaurant. We have booked out a section for the party. Food and drinks will be provided.

​​If you'd like to stay at Te Arai, like us, the studio rooms are available at a discounted rate of $1,330 per couple which includes the Friday and Saturday nights and breakfast for Saturday and Sunday morning. We have a travel planner, Southern Crossings, who is arranging the accommodation on our behalf. So on confirmation that you can attend, we will provide the list to Southern Crossings who will receive payment on behalf of Te Arai. We need to know numbers by Thursday 21 November 2024.

​Golf competitions will be on Friday and Saturday at approximately midday. We will look at some individual and team events over the 2 days.

​What’s the plan:

This time of year will hopefully give us some decent weather. Obviously, there is golf. For the non golfers, the accommodation offers massage, beauty, yoga, hikes and walks, surfing, horse riding, paddle boarding, kayaking, and helicopter tours. A link below to this activities:

Te Arai is also close to Mangawhai, and there is plenty to do there too.

​The plan is for us to be kid free over the weekend.

​Te Arai also offers babysitting services for those that require them.

​​We wanted to share this invitation as soon as possible, giving people plenty of time to book, as the accommodation books out quickly.
