​Join us for a session where we will discuss the topic "AI's Potential to Map Animal Suffering: Insights using the Welfare Footprint Framework" by Wladimir J. Alonso and Cynthia Schuck-Paim from the Welfare Footprint Project. In this session we will discuss (1) how animal welfare science can benefit from the use of AI, (2) how the Welfare Footprint Project is using AI to facilitate the mapping and quantification of animal suffering using a Custom GPT, and (3) generate analyses in real-time, using examples suggested by participants. ​A monthly gathering to delve into diverse topics related to the Welfare Footprint Project and their work in quantifying welfare/cumulative pain for farmed animals.

​Each session, led by experts Cynthia and Wladimir, will focus on a new topic. Participants are encouraged to RSVP for planning purposes and submit any questions ahead of time through the Slack channel or directly in the event comments.
