​Sally Carson is a design leader, former VC-backed startup CEO, and TechStars alum. Most recently, she led Design for LinkedIn Jobs. Prior, she was the Head of Design at Cisco Security, and Head of Product Design at Duo. Sally has interviewed, hired, and coached hundreds of designers and has a passion for developing mid-career product designers. Sally also draws comics and is making a graphic memoir about her time as an NYC bike messenger just after 9/11.

​Radu Vucea is a Senior Design Executive, Investor, and Advisor who began his career back in 2005. Since then, he had the opportunity to work for startups, design studios, and big brands alike, having built products and design teams from scratch for companies like Adobe and Fitbit.

​More recently, Radu served as Chief Design Officer for Berlin-based start-up Actio. With a drive for entrepreneurship, he founded his own Product Design Studio back in 2020 and grew that to a 7 figure yearly revenue in less than two years, exiting in late 2023. He now serves as an advisor and investor for several tech start-ups across the world.

​Radu’s happy place is helping other designers grow and create stellar work. Having hired and mentored hundreds of designers to date, he’s currently focused on scaling up his Design Academy, founded three years ago.

​When he’s not working, you can find Radu on a Snowboard or Longboard, shredding snow or tarmac.
