About Event

Let's Build a Sustainable Future Together

Join us for nationwide conversations on climate resilience innovations, happening in parallel with San Francisco Tech Week.

Together, we'll explore cutting-edge technologies and solutions that are shaping a more sustainable future. Our speakers and partners will delve into the latest advancements in climate innovation, sharing their insights and experiences.

What is CReST about?

The Climate Resilience Technology (CReST) platform is a collaborative initiative by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), DEVCON Philippines, and De La Salle University (DLSU). This partnership aims to develop and implement innovative climate resilience solutions to address the pressing challenges faced by the Philippines and other climate-vulnerable regions.

Key focus areas of CReST include:

  • Early warning systems: Saving lives and protecting communities.

  • Renewable energy: Expanding access to clean and sustainable power.

  • Disaster resilience: Building stronger and more resilient infrastructure.

  • Reforestation through robotics: Pioneering new approaches to environmental restoration.

Why is CReST important?

The Philippines, as one of the world's most climate-affected nations, faces significant risks from natural disasters. By investing in climate resilience technologies, we can transform the country into a global leader in sustainable solutions. CReST will not only benefit the Philippines but also serve as a model for other regions grappling with climate change.

Let's work together to create a more sustainable and resilient future.
