GDC Systems Design Meetup 2025

​Ten years in, the GDC systems design meetup remains a rarity, and I'm so glad we get to keep doing it. A place to immerse yourself in wonderful designers with a very particular set of skills. Ten years in, folks are still consistently kind, consistently generous with their thoughts and camaraderie, consistently engaging in their conversation. I love it, I love it.

​So come on over, talk economies, weapon attributes, progression mechanics, procedural generation, social systems, emergence, learning processes, narrative systems - anything that gets to crunchy the core of what makes games tick.

​We're back at the same location and the same time as last year. Register for location! It's a beautiful and vaguely-Scandinavian public space, in walking distance of Moscone.

​Liz England and I will be bringing the pizza. RSVP early, since we may cut off registration. And let us know if you do/don't want pizza. (We'll ask for optional pizza donations at the event.)
