Bitcoin Ecosystem Explorers

​The tribes are converging as builders return to Bitcoin - with better tools than ever. Kicking off a regular meetup at Network School for founders and curious minds exploring the expanding Bitcoinverse of new protocols, financial primitives, and developer platforms - with some hands-on experience, too.

​From Ordinals, Runes, and other inscription-based protocols to programmable layers like Stacks, sidechains such as Liquid and RSK, payment channels like Lightning, and BTCFi platforms emerging across the ecosystem, we track the tools and trends unlocking BTC liquidity and shaping tomorrow’s Bitcoin economy.

​Each session begins with a short ecosystem update, followed by a feature topic (see below), and open space for anyone to share what they’re learning or interested in building on Bitcoin.

​Thursday, April 10 – Featuring Stacks
Stacks and the sBTC protocol work together to extend Bitcoin’s functionality—enabling smart contracts and dApps that unlock BTC liquidity while preserving the integrity and security of the Bitcoin base layer. Discover how sBTC can be used in applications as a 1:1 BTC-pegged asset, allowing users to interact with smart contracts while maintaining self-custody of their bitcoin.
