Oakland Cabin Supper
Hey you!
We (Cam and Shirah) are excited to be hosting our first Cabin Supper, one of many Bar Area Cabin events to come 🌉
If you’re new to Cabin, here’s a quick low-down on what we’re about:
We are building a network city of intergenerational neighborhoods
We’re doing this by creating the neighborhoods we’d want to grow up in, today
We love to convene and celebrate the fusion of the many cultures in our neighborhoods
In honor of this, we want to center the evening around our communities' different cultural facets - even if we didn't grow up in multi-national/multi-ethnic households, all of us bring a variety of cultures to the table. We invite you to reflect on what your cultural identity is and how your internal cultures like to manifest, and if called, to bring something reflective of this to share at the dinner (this can be a game, a ritual, a food to be shared, etc).
Our hope is that this will establish a new exciting culture for us to create and integrate together in our neighborhood!
Note About RSVPs
Shirah will share some of her cultures by creating a Middle Eastern-fusion feast for us! We have limited space, so please only RSVP if you’re sure you can make it.
