IITA: 06.04: Walnut Creek’s Best: Acalanes Ridge

For this hike, we will do a short jaunt through the Acalanes Ridge. It’s a wooded and slightly hilly, 2.7 mile hike to a bench with an awesome view of Mount Diablo. Expect big skies, greenish hills, and wildflowers. The total hike is about 1.5 hours with a break for BYO snacks midway.
You must register for trailhead and parking location.

* There's some shade on this trail.
* There are NO bathroom facilities nearby.
* There is ample, free parking.
* Well-behaved dogs are allowed, unleashed is okay.
