Nico Maffey | With over a decade of experience spanning global consulting, international development, and startups, he brings a unique lens to applying AI and data-driven solutions to complex challenges across both the public and private sectors. Nico began his career in strategy consulting at McKinsey and PwC, before transitioning to solution delivery at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Lab of Emerging Technologies and World Bank’s Digital Development Practice. A committed supporter of the venture and startup ecosystem in Latam, Nico has also held investment and advisory roles with Alumni Ventures, Patagonia Ventures, and the VC Lab. Currently, Nico is a Solution Manager at C3.ai. He holds a BA and a Master’s in Economics from Harvard College and the Harvard Kennedy School.
Alex Trabulsi is the Vice President of Partnerships at Fast Forward and an experienced leader passionate about directing capital to purpose-driven organizations and startups. With over 15 years working at the intersection of capital, technology, and impact—including seven years leading global philanthropy at Acumen—she has worked closely with high-growth startups, major foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals to help scale solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Her work is grounded in the belief that catalytic capital, technology, and sharp market strategy can unlock outsized impact, particularly in sectors like women’s health, AI for social good, climate resilience, and economic equity.
Gerardo Mateo is a tech entrepreneur, Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, and a government software pioneer. As Chief Operating Officer and founding team member at Glass, a San Francisco-based company transforming how governments buy, Gerardo is helping reshape public procurement for the digital age. Glass powers G-Commerce, an e-commerce marketplace modernizing the $800B U.S. public procurement market—and unlocking access to the world’s largest buyer: government. Since its launch in 2020, Glass has helped over 120 government agencies across the U.S. simplify purchasing and expand access to small & local vendors.
Amartyo Sen is a member of the GTM team at OpenAI, where he partners with federal, state, local, and international government agencies to responsibly implement AI at scale. He was a founding member of the OpenAI Education team and OpenAI for Government team, helping secure flagship customer partnerships and driving strategic adoption of generative AI across government agencies and educational institutions. Earlier in his career, Amartyo built and scaled go‑to‑market motions in hyper‑growth environments at AWS Startups, Gong, and various early‑stage startups.
Hari Subramonyam is an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Graduate School of Education and a Faculty Fellow at Stanford's Institute for Human-Centered AI. He is also a member of the HCI Group at Stanford. His research focuses on augmenting critical human tasks (such as learning, creativity, and sensemaking) with AI by incorporating principles from cognitive psychology. He also investigates support tools for multidisciplinary teams to co-design AI experiences. His work has received multiple best paper awards at top human-computer interaction conferences, including CHI and IUI.
