​Join our next Oakland Hardware Meetup!

​This time, we're talking Parametric Design with Pooria Sohi as the sun sets over Jack London Square. Parametric Design is transforming many industries approaches to form and function, as well as enabling a more responsive design process. By embedding logic and rules into digital models, designers can rapidly explore complex geometries, optimize performance, and adapt solutions to a wide range of constraints. The tech is ushering in a new era of collaboration between creativity and code.

​Pooria is the creator and designer of the world's first fully additively manufactured prosthetic used at the Paralympic Games. They've got over a decade of experience with parametric workflows, and a PhD in additive manufacturing applications to help bring that experience into the physical world.
