The Next Generation with Aria Babu
Join us for another TNG event on Tuesday, 10th June!
A lot has happened since last month. We lost a Pope (and gained one), Reform rocked Labour's boat, and Lady Gaga broke records in Brazil. Sounds like a cover of We didn't start the fire. It's a funny coincidence that Billy Joel had a daughter who became a pianist. Speaking of having kids - that's the topic of next month's TNG!
This time, we're delighted to be talking with Aria Babu, an editor at Works in Progress. A mainstay of the policy world, her career has led her through the likes of PricedOut, Policy Exchange and The Entrepreneurs' Network. She's coming to talk about pronatalism, and policy solutions to the worsening fertility crisis. She will outline the liberal, pro-choice approach to the UK's declining birth rates, in opposition to illiberal restriction policies.
Date: Tuesday, 10th June 2025
Time: Doors open 6pm sharp (punctuality is a virtue)
Venue: 23 Great Smith Street, Westminster. SW1P 3DJ
Refreshments provided 🍷
A bit more about these meetings:
At TNGs, we throw our doors open to Westminster’s finest to enjoy a political discussion over a few glasses of (free) wine. Open to parliamentary staffers, journos, SpAds, consultants, students and even the odd civil servant, TNGs are a place to network, chat, relax and always feature great remarks from our guest speaker. Whatever your politics, we just like interesting ideas and we hope you do too. It’s for under-35s, it’s informal and we normally end up at the Marquis of Granby. If we reach capacity with RSVPs, we will add you to our waiting list and let you know if a place becomes available.
Please note this event is exclusively for under-35s.
¡Viva la libertad, carajo!
