7:20pm Design System Bias – Ben Callahan (30 mins)
Without intention, our personal biases creep into everything we do. The same is true with design systems. In a recent poll, over 75% of the design system practitioners who answered agreed that there is bias baked into the assets, documentation, or processes their system offers. What we do with this information is what matters. This presentation explores the impact this bias plays in design system adoption and offers some approaches for combatting that bias.
