This is something I’ve thought about for a long time and now I think we have the right backend partners and processes in place to play with it in a BETA test.
Introducing the Maverick Incubator (BETA).
There are a lot of Mavericks I’ve talked to who have significant ideas for new businesses that are almost assured to work because of your expertise in the marketplace, network, leverage, etc. But they just don’t have it happen because they don’t have the right team, tech expertise, resources or maybe just too many other things going on to pursue it.
Whatever it is, the concept never gets out there and the world suffers.
That’s why this might be really interesting…
I think there will be two ways the Maverick Incubator will work depending on your situation:
1) You want to be more involved and drive the idea/concept for a larger equity stake.
2) You have the concept/idea & industry connections but would rather have a young entrepreneur be the driver and you are the mentor for a lower equity stake. (Personally, I have a couple very viable projects in my idea notebook and I’d love to help an ambitious young protégé get them up and going.)

A few bits of context:
• His main SaaS business serves over 40,000 entrepreneurs and he’s made ever mistake in the book until he got the build side right.
• 200+ person team (including software development, Go-to-market, sales, customer support, etc.) who will build your solution at cost and partner together.
• They’ve launched 50 companies in 5 months so far with new model.
• He’s also created a group of angel investors and built a crowdfunding platform fund the ventures.
I’m excited to personally work with your idea to make it even better. (As many of you know, there’s almost nothing I love better than brainstorming and developing multiple aspects of the vision that has multiple facets of impact and marketing prominence positioning.)
Plus, you add in the Maverick network for high-leverage connections, advisors, capabilities…and even mentoring for the selected young entrepreneurs if you got that route…making this pretty darn cool.
For the BETA test, we want a handful of Mavericks who fit the criteria of a tech idea - preferably software related. We’ll cover all if and answer questions on this “Fireside chat”
