About Event

You are cordially invited to a high level discussion on Philanthropy & the SDGs on April 26 at 2:00pm. The Miami Dade Beacon Council will be the host of this important event. Our goal is to engage our local philanthropic community in conversations highlighting the importance of investing in systemic change and supporting organizations that accelerate the SDGs in South Florida. Guest speakers include:Keynote by Paula Caballero, Regional Managing Director for Latin America - The Nature Conservancy. The World Economic Forum highlights Paula as one of the women that made the 'SDGs' happen. - Fernanda K. Brickell City Tower (NOT Brickell City Center) The Chase Bank BuildingDirections and Parking InstructionsParking Garage address is 86 SW 8th StreetFROM I-95: Exit SW 7th Street Exit/Brickell Ave and head east (it is a one way street).From I-95 southbound, upon exiting, you will proceed through the SW 8th Street light (stay in the middle lane) and THEN turn left at the SW 7th Street (which will take you under I-95). Continue eastbound.Stay in the middle lane until you pass the stop light at SW 1st Ave, which is just past the metro rail overhead. Move over into the right lane and turn right into the first parking garage entrance on the right. Photo is below as there is NO SIGNAGE. The Saks Fifth Avenue Main entrance is directly across the street from our parking garage entrance/exit. If you come to the stop light at Miami Avenue, you have gone too far.PARKING GARAGE STREETVIEW: We have a hidden parking garage entrance (the red arrow.) The exact address is 86 SW 8th Street, however they have taken down signage with this address, so check out the pictures!Enter the parking garage and at the gate take a ticket. You will most likely not find any open parking until at least the 6th Floor. Park and take elevator down to the lobby. Then cross over the hallway and take an elevator up to the 24th Floor.IF you pass the parking garage entrance, you will need to quickly get over to the left and then turn LEFT at Miami Avenue and go around the block (it is all one way streets and this is by far the quickest route by 10 minutes).PEDESTRIAN ACCESS: 829 SW 1st Avenue.The only pedestrian access is on the south side of our building off of SW 9th Street. It is the Chase Bank Building and the main entrance is directly across the street from the Publix on the Corner of SW 9th Street and SW 1st Avenue.
