Speaker Bio:
Teresa Briggs serves on the boards of directors of ServiceNow, Snowflake, DocuSign and Warby Parker. She is a member of the audit committee for each company and is the audit committee chair of ServiceNow, DocuSign and Warby Parker.
Teresa is a Stanford University Distinguished Careers Fellow and is on the teaching team for the Stanford LeanLaunchpad course. She currently serves on the board of trustees at the University of Arizona and is a facilitator for the Santa Clara Black Corporate Director Readiness program.
After a 37-year career with Deloitte LLP, Teresa retired in 2019. At Deloitte, she was the lead partner for some of the organization’s leading companies, and held several leadership positions, including Vice Chair and West Region, San Francisco and Silicon Valley managing partner, and served on the Deloitte LLP board of directors.
A number professional and community organizations have benefitted from Teresa’s leadership, having served as a member of the executive committee of the Bay Area Council and a board member of the California Academy of Sciences. She was named a Director to Watch by Directors & Boards and Forever Influential by the San Francisco Business Times.
Teresa received her BA degree from the University of Arizona and lives in Hillsborough, CA.
