​Session Overview: The grid is the backbone of our electricity system and the most important enabler of “electrifying everything” to achieve our decarbonisation goals. This is well understood, but there are many barriers both technical and non-technical that make it difficult to finance and deploy new technologies to the grid. We will dive deep into why hardware innovations are critical to unlocking a decarbonised grid, and why the journey has been so difficult.
