About Event

Join us for the launch of our annual flagship publication!

The past year saw some of the worst cyclones recorded in the Pacific, some of the worst ever recorded floods in Australia, Pakistan and across the African continent, and major droughts globally. Experts have declared that our planet’s water cycle has been severely disrupted due to human activity.

For many minorities and indigenous peoples, the water crisis is an existential threat. That’s why, this year, our annual report focuses on water. In it, we analyze a range of intersecting issues from conflict in water-stressed parts of the world to pollution impacting community health.

Water justice cannot be attained unless the communities that protect water systems are prioritized in the international arena. During this launch event, you will hear from activists, researchers and policy makers about these experiences and the solutions needed.
