Save Daughters Campaign: Protecting Our Future with HPV Vaccination

About the Campaign
Launched in 2024 by Pragya Panchanathan, a 13-year-old girl, the Save Daughters campaign was born out of a deep concern after seeing alarming statistics on deaths caused by the HPV virus. Shocked to learn that despite the availability of the vaccine, many parents still do not vaccinate their daughters, often due to reasons such as cost, lack of awareness, and other barriers, Pragya took it upon herself to inspire change and encourage families to take action.

Campaign Dates: 08-April-2025 to 08-May-2025

Supporting Hospitals (List will be continuously updated):

  • Gargash Hospital, Dubai

  • Canadian Specialist Hospital, Dubai

Goal: Encourage parents to protect their daughters and family members from cervical cancer by getting the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccination.

Why HPV Vaccination Matters
Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women worldwide, with over 300,000 deaths each year. However, HPV vaccination can prevent up to 90% of cervical cancers and other related cancers. Vaccination is most effective when administered at 10 years of age or older, before any exposure to the virus.

How to Participate

1️⃣ Consult a doctor to learn more about the HPV vaccination and, based on their guidance, ensure children above 10 years receive the vaccine.
2️⃣ Avail special packages from the supporting hospitals listed above during the campaign period.
3️⃣ Receive a Certificate of Appreciation and a special gift for participating in the campaign.
